Yung Lean and the sad boys have been interviewed by radio host and notorious researcher Nardwuar on the day of his 18th birthday in BC Canada!

The interview is hilarious to say the least as the seasoned music journo takes on the Swedish rap powerhouse trio of Yung Lean, Yung Sherman and Yung Gud and of course Blade of the Gravity boys during their first ever tour through the states and Canada.

Although only the ripe old age of 18, Yung Lean shows his surprising maturity with musical tastes ranging from Daniel Johnston to Kurt Kobain of Nirvana and Vancouver band Skinny Puppy.

Nadwuar also dives into the teens past digging up a pic of a 15 year old ‘Lean graffing a wall in Vietnam and of course touching on those explicit lyrics riddled through most of their tracks – “Got my balls licked by a Zooey Deschanel look-alike Cocaine addict” (a shoutout to the beautiful Zooey it turns out).

The rest of the gangs background is equally fascinating and comedic with chatter about dreams of trips with Drake and the Kardashians to Vancouver and Shermans parents seminal Swedish punk band.

Even though Nardwaur interviews a ton of notable artists (including a DRUNK Hudson Mohawke not so long ago), this particular sessions proves the most interesting for such a new artist that is literally blowing up as we speak.
