Infamous club Zouk to re-open in Kuala Lumpur

Party boys and party girls alike faced sadness recently after reports of infamous Singapore nightclub Zouk stated that the club was coming to the end of it’s lease and impending doom.

It would have been massive loss for the global circuit, with the party palace boasting a DJ ‘Library’ (home to hundreds of thousands of vinyls at the disposal of that night’s talent – drool), over 96 closed-circuit cameras and a casual $500,000US investment in party ‘props’ each year. Punters loved it so much that an online petition was launched to save the nightclub, landing 160,000 signatures on the first day. Whoa.

But fear not of this loss, party children, for owners of Zouk have just announced the move of the club to a casual $125.8m entertainment precinct in Kuala Lumpur.

Spearheaded by executive director and co-founder of Zouk, Cher Ng, the project is set for completion in early 2015. The nightspot will totally out-$wag the previous Zouk, being comprised of five clubs spanning 60,000 sq ft, including a rooftop bar and boss features for days.
