‘DJing is the new Black’ according to Taryn Manning who aside from staring in the popular TV show ‘Orange Is The New Black’ as beloved character Pennsatucky is also skilled behind the decks.

In similar fashion to Game of Thrones character Kristian Nairn best known for his role as Hodor, who is set to tour Australia in a series of GoT themed parties, holds her own having released solo material, spins vinyl, sings live and tours regularly with recent shows in Las Vegas and San Diego. She actually started our dishing up vocals for Boomkat with our personal favourite “The Wreckoning” track streaming below.

Although her music is ‘EDM’ tinged and we probably wouldn’t play it on the often it’s good to see the many dimensions of favourite characters on TV and a great opportunity for fans to connect on more than one level like fans of Shaq who recently played a Vegas rooftop a few weeks back.
