Last week we heard about Diplo’s forthcoming collaborative track with Madonna and with it a small hint that he might be working with another pop star looking to stage a return and like that, it’s been pretty much confirmed!

Speaking with Idolator the Major Lazer frontman let rip that it’d be that hollaback girl Gwen Stefani among others that he was working with on a return LP… a possibility that we like the sound of and would be too far of an outrageous claim not to be true.

If it’s proven beyond doubt (not a far stretch at this stage) it’ll be the first album from Gwen since 2006 where she actually claimed to be calling her own career a bit of a dead end. Not a bad 180!

After a recent cameo on stage with Daft Punk right hand man Pharrell Williams at this years Coachella festival we can already start to imagine the potential features on the no doubt star studded Stefani release.

This also seems like a no better time than to post up Lapalux’s powerful bootleg of Gwens stellar hit “Luxurious” – is this thing a classic yet?
