Compilation Game from Rooftops Horizon: Volume One

Nothing gets me more excited than under the radar European music labels repping artists in the shadows. Just shy of a year in age, Rooftops Horizon is an “Independent electronic music label. Based in Paris, and drawing inspiration from space and time, this label makes it a point of honor to produce and distribute music he likes but also promote a certain number of talented artists remained in the shadows.” Volume 1 is Rooftops Horizon’s debut compilation featuring artists Salute, JL, Rusty Hook, Renx and Romby, and it’s available for free download, might I add!

Between the Bollywood vibes of “Gold Rush” and the hypnotic nature of “Drifting Away,” I’m a bit lost for words with this one as I listen in awe…it really is quite something. Each track has it’s own distinct identity but still manages to work seamlessly well with one another! All five tracks features have been sprinkled with that same drawn out, progressive chill trap pungent flavour. This demonstrates Rooftops Horizon’s promising curation and A&R skills.

P.S: You can catch Rusty Hook at the release party (Paris, July 301st) for the highly anticipated  “Point Point’s Filet Mignon tape.” <— everything about that sentence, tho.
