We aren’t surprised that Baauer is again getting clever with his methods of releasing new tracks, following his last unique idea of throwing USB’s containing his unreleased songs into the crowd during a set. He recently posted on his facebook an announcement of the release and free download of a new track, however to obtain it is a little unorthodox. When you go to his site and type in “Soulja” into that text box, you get a free download of “Clang” and this new monster titled “Soulja”.

The rework of ‘Soulja Boy’ (YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU) is big and filthy, just the way Baauer likes it. We are assuming that these tracks are a sign of the beginning of a string of releases about to hit our shores.

For anyone unable to get the download to work apparently it’s only supported in Safari and Chrome. Have a listen to the new track below and see what you think. Who else is after an instrumental version?
