The home of house, Chicago promoters have set the bar high when it comes to booking dance events. With an array of decent bookings, global artists are often keen to make a stop where it all began. Neighboring city Detroit has even declared a (techno) music week surround their techno flagship Movement Festival. During this holiday weekend this July 4th, another local event has recently released a lineup that will bring any house head tears of joy.

Riverwest boasts a fairly inexpensive event featuring house and techno favorites from near and far. Unprecedented for a major event, the 3-day fest will set you back a mere $160. For those of who recently spent thousands for Electric Daisy Carnival, you made a huge mistake.
