Last week we shared with you the exciting news that you cold potentially get your hands on a VERY rare pressing of Aphex Twin’s long lost 1994 LP ‘Caustic Window’. The recording, that didn’t get to see the light of day for 20 years, finally got an online release and stream over the last couple of months. But for those interested in getting a hard copy, it was guaranteed to be setting them back a pretty penny.

The Ebay auction for the test-press has just ended – and unless you had a cool $46,300 lying around, then it’s unlikely that you’ve scored yourself this legendary item. That’s right, someone dropped 46K for this rarified record, which isn’t all bad, as a portion of the proceeds are going to charity. We imagine that person’s cheering like a little school girl right about now.
