Parklife UK offering £20,000 for info about one-punch death

UK mega-festival Parklife is offering £20,000 to anyone who can shed some light on the death of Robert Hart, whom died after suffering a one punch attack at the festival.

Hart was attacked as he was attempting to protect his girlfriend from being hit by a large inflatable toy before Snoop Dogg was due to perform.

Calls to identify the man have been urgently pushed by the festival – with organisers remarking on their facebook page;

“From the start we believed that, out of the 70,000 people at the festival, there must have been one person who knows who was responsible for this cowardly act…”

“After careful consultation with GMP, who have in turn been in extremely close communication with the family, we are now able to offer £20,000 for information which leads the authorities to identifying the attacker and convicting him for the crime.”

An e-fit of the proposed attacker has been written to aid the cause.

An instagram eyewitness photo has also caused a stir in the case proceedings. The violent photo purported to be an image of the attacker has since been confirmed to be a separate incident – but is chilling nonetheless.

With other big UK festivals including Glastonbury and EDC UK coming up, as well as risky business happening at local raves – we can only hope that the shithouse behaviour of a few can dissipate.

What do you think of the organisers cash reward? Is this a cultural problem and is it getting increasingly worse?
