Moody Good’s Debut LP On OWSLA Defines Diverse

With the tremendous amount of dance music being released daily, it’s sometimes difficult to find an artist with a new, noteworthy, unique sound. It goes without saying that the 99% of over-promoted dance all sounds the same. Leave it up to Sonny the OWSLA boss and emo teen heartthrob to showcase something different. Latest on the docket is Eddie Jefferys, aka Moody Good. This dude simply does not follow the path of having a basic dance music sound. If you’re unfamiliar with the sound of Moody Good, the best way to describe it is if dubstep, bass-heavy, and hip-hop decided to conceive a glorious, grimy baby.

Although his former duo group 16Bit is done, Moody Good still thrives as a forward thinker and proves he has a fresh style in bass music. Maybe this isn’t what you think in the term ‘future bass’, but is heavy and it’s definitely not from our time. Moody Good clearly demonstrates that he is an artist who ventures into different realms of music style but manages to stay true to his own, unique style of super quality product and sound design within all of the tracks.

Although the album was available for stream on SoundCloud prior to its release, Moody Good has officially dropped under Skrillex’s OWSLA and Chase & Status’ MTA and is available now for purchase via iTunes and Beatport.
