Fresh from his May release of Girl / Sleep Sound, class act Jamie xx is back again with UK cats Young Turks to deliver yet another ineffably genius cut dubbed “All Under One Roof Raving”.

Jamie took to his Facebook page to reveal the inspiration behind the track, essentially describing a life on the road with his touring band The xx;

“I made All Under One Roof Raving whilst on the tail end of another year on the road with The xx. I was missing life in London and trawling through any music and videos that reminded me of home. One in particular I found very inspiring, Mark Leckey’s ‘Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore’.

Adding further reasoning behind the new track;

I made this track in order to play out back home as I knew the year to come would be spent largely in the UK, DJing and making my own album. It serves as a reminder, not to take any time for granted at home or away.”

It seems Jamie’s signature sound has resonated greatly with the opening 30 seconds incorporating what we’ve come to expect from the forward-thinking Brit with the steel drums, a subtle bassline and typically on-point retro vocal samples taking you on a journey now synonymous with his style.
