Watch: Michael Jacksons ‘Hologram’ Billboard Award Performance

Michael Jackson has been brought back to life through similar fashion to 2Pac in hologram form as the King of Pop along with 16-dancers knocked out a spectacular performance at this years Billboard Awards.

The epic peak of the awards, said to have taken up to 6 months to create showcased the first single “Slave To The Rhythm” taken from MJ’s forthcoming ‘Xscape’ LP and produced by Timberland. Donning his characteristic red pants and gold jacket, a nod to his ‘Dangerous’ album artwork the show hologram Mike slid and slinked his way around the stage joined by dancers and blasts of blames!

Although we can’t help but enjoy the show and seeing what is aimed at recreating a real Jackson performance can’t help but feel like marketing has certainly taken the reigns here. More so with word that Jacksons lawyer of all people outlining that “”Slave to the Rhythm’ felt like a song was something people could dance to, a potential club song. We talked to Jamie King, who directed the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil shows and we all felt the song was very likeable.” – yeah, ok.

Personally, a man that’s had the last of his years paraded in front of cameras and through a media shit storm should probably have some peace and quiet, not turned into a hologram so his label and family can continue to enjoy their millions.
