Four Tet Gets Perfectly Weird On Sia Remix

This isn’t the first time Four Tet has run his experienced hands over a Sia track although we’d have to say his recent remix of “Chandelier” trumps that of his effort on “Breathe” way back in 2004.

To be honest we enjoy the shit out of Sia so getting someone like Four Tet, a Stoney staple to officially remix it is even more of a nod towards the pop pixie.

He’s actually re-worked plenty of other starlets recently having dabbled in Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” and “Burn” from ex-Skrillex bae Ellie Goulding. Of course his heaving stuff as Percussions and confusing live sets still have us front and centre for all things ‘Tet.

The remix funnily starts out with some deep muddy drums (kinda like Pharrells same/same ones) with a collection of rummaged samples and sounds entering the picture before Sia’s ultra-croonie vocals and big chorus stamp this as a play-repeater.

Maybe there’s something to pop music after all?
