South African Rap Crew Die Antwoord Tease New Album Details

Die Antwoord

Are we about to hit that perfect beat boy all over? South African rap-rave crew Die Antwoord are days away from releasing a new music video and official date for the launch of their much anticipated third record baptised ‘Donker Mag’.

The trio of Yolandi Visser, DJ Hi Tek and the one and only Ninja are set to share the album through their own imprint Zef Records on Wednesday and by doing so, unleashing their out of this world, unique brand of rap… that doesn’t make any sense and makes complete sense at the same time. Yesterday they launched a message on Facebook telling their fans;

‘in exactly 4dayz frm now… we announce release date 4 DONKER MAG album… and drop the video from our 1st DONKER MAG single #herecumzdastorm # #RR23

The first single on ‘Donker Mag’ is strongly rumoured to feature the equally fascinating and mysterious vibes of Aphex Twin (who’s logo is tattooed on Ninja’s arm) after the crew announced back in February that “our 1st single features 1 of my dearest friendz in da hole universe” and something we cannot wait to see considering the unmatched creativity and general weirdness from both parties. I mean, who could ever forget ‘Widow Licker’ or ‘Beat Boy’ videos.

Combine the weirdness of both outfits and there will be a multitude of strange!!
