Skrillex Announces Stack Of Huge Non-Dance Guests For His Bonnaroo Set

Skrillex has always been a game changer when its come to dance music with an explorative label (OWSLA), his live show and more recently collaborations with a stash of artists on his debut ‘Recess’ album, he’s definitely done it all.

Proving he’s certainly the artist of the era, he’ll be headlining this years Bonnaroo music festival and inviting a whole number of special guests from other scenes to party with him for a super jam of sorts with spots from Chance The Rapper, Thundercat, members of the Grateful Dead and The Doors as well as Warpaint and Zedd – a smorgasbord of talent if you will.

This isn’t the first time Skrillex has worked with The Doors, him and three members of the cult psych-rock band actually released a track “Breakin’ a Sweat” way back in 2012 for a short film re:Generation that creased a lot of furrows but in hindsight was something great albeit ahead of its time (much like the band).

We don’t know exactly what the output will be live, be it rehearsed or not but expect the results to open doors for future projects and further greying of distinct artists categorised to specific scenes.
