Japanese Gov’t Set To Loosen Dance Club Laws

Japan seems to be coming to it’s senses with a government committee on regulatory reform universally agreeing that the laws on dancing in clubs as well as clubs themselves need to be relaxed after an archaic ’fueiho’ was brought back into play after a string of nightclub incidences in 2010.

The same committee has recommended moving dance clubs from the current legal category of a cabaret clubs to the more relaxed laws that regulate restaurants with committee chair Motoyuki Oka commenting “Loosening the regulations will also help to spur economic activity.”

These reform recommendations have been geared towards attracting more tourism in the lead up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and having dance clubs open after the usual (quite early!) midnight closing time that would help keep the nightlife moving!

Let’s hope this legislation reform goes through for more freaky pokemon anime dance club party party times. untz
