Dusky announce new label 17 Steps, hear a preview of the first EP

London lords Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell, aka Dusky, have been prominent in the underground UK music scene for a few years now working with some of the biggest names in the business, such as Loefah with the first ever release on his School imprint, Will Saul’s Aus Music for the ineffable ‘Careless’ EP and Breach’s NakedNaked for ‘Vanishing Point’. In light of their success they have recently announced the creation of their own label, 17 Steps.

The lads took to Facebook to reveal the news:

“Over the last few years our identity as artists has continued to grow and crystallise into something we never envisaged possible. The introduction of 17 Steps feels like a natural phase in our development, and a logical move that enables us to take more control of our musical identity and provide a platform for music by other artists that we believe in.”

The initial release will be an EP titled ‘Love Taking Over’ from Dusky themselves, which you can very briefly and teasingly preview on their clean new 17 Steps website, or read up on more brand spanking new labels from artists Skream and Nina Kraviz.
