The good people over at Do Androids Dance have made it aware that Mad Decent homie DJ Sega has put aside his pride and reached out to the community for help in supporting his family through crowdsourcing site GoFundMe with the urgent funds going towards re-locating his disabled mother (two car accidents) and uncle (deaf, mute and mentally challenged) by this FRIDAY after an unexpected eviction from his family home.

A mild goal of $1500 has already been surpassed but a stash of special rewards are on offer for those that continue to help the hard working DJ, producer and unintentional caretaker to help out the people that raised him to what he is today. Rewards? Yep, Sega is throwing down a heap of goodies as a thank you to fans including DJ Sega x Mad Decent stickers, exclusive mixes, remixes and originals, a follow on Twitter, Facebook and a personal shout out and quite possibly our favourite – a hang, bite to eat and smoke in your own city when he’s in town!

Regarded as ‘Phillys best party DJ’ you’d be hard pressed to find a more charismatic identity within the dance world who also happens to absolutely slay  behind the decks with his style of juke, footwork and jersey club. He was recently in Australia for a few club shows and even popped up on Dillon Francis’ only Big Day Out sideshow cruise.
