Macaulay Culkin and The Pizza Underground Beer Bombed Mid Kazoo Solo

From Home Alone, to heroin, to pizza; Macaulay Culkin (who shall henceforth be referred to as [badass] MC) is undoubtedly one of the most entertaining humans to come out of the child actor machine. Unveiling his joke band “The Pizza Underground” back in 2012, he dazzled the senses of stoners and Richie Rich fans alike with his absolutely abysmal/cheesy cheesy covers of Velvet Underground songs dedicated to the total gloriousness of PIZzZzAAA (trust me, the pizza was in better taste than the music). For some reason (perhaps it’s best not to Dr Freud the inner workings of MC’s mind) he decided that the Pizza needed to leap forth from it’s youtube confines, and hit the big stage on a UK tour. ‘Obviously’, he thought ‘the people need a real taste, the people want, nay, need pizza, and I shall deliver it to them… FOR I AM THE ONE AND ONLY MC; PIZZA SHAMAN TO THE GODS’.

After acing the interwebs last week with his masterful ‘MC-wearing-Ryan Gosling-wearing-MC’ t-shirt inception, things have begun to take a turn for the worse. After their show in Manchester, it was clear the Pizza was going stale, poor MC was interrupted by a heckler mid kazoo solo, resulting in a distasteful storm off stage by the Pizza brethren, and things don’t seem to be getting any easier. Their latest concert in Nottingham saw MC pull the plug in just 15 minutes after they were jeered at and pelted with glasses of beer! As hilarious as it is, it would have been more appropriately poetic had they had BYO a box, and hurled some slices of hawaiian or cheesy supreme at them… one for me, one for MC. Perhaps he may not be the next Lou Reed, but his tastey tales of trials and tribulations make it all worthwhile.

How prophetic…

And if you dare, the song that started it all.
