Two weeks ago it was announced that Night Slugs boss Bok Bok would be releasing a new EP this month; his first proper release since 2011′s ‘Southside’. And while no clips of the seven tunes – besides the funk-swagged first single ‘Melba’s Call‘ – had surfaced online, track #2 ‘Howard’ has now been uploaded to his Soundcloud for streaming. The record, titled ‘Your Charasmatic Self’, will be out via his own imprint May 26, and follows exciting news that himself and fellow label co-owner L-Vis 1990 would be returning to Australia for a tour in June. So far each production on the EP has taken a different route from his signature techno rattlers, and with a song titled ‘Funkiest (Be Yourself)’, do we detect a theme here?
