It’s all coming up Milhouse for Klaxons, as the hype continues to grow for upcoming album Love Frequency, out June 2nd via Akashic Records.

After a strong release of upbeat spell ‘There Is No Other Time’ (produced by Gorgon City), the foursome have thrown new track ‘Atom to Atom’ out into the ether. Furthering their bid to unite fans of multiple genres by amalgamating styles, the album seems to be a pastiche of pop, EDM and prog sounds. Putting up something different for electronic punters, it’s definitely poised to be one of the more unique album releases of 2014. Check out ‘Atom to Atom’ below.

Adding to the mystery and intrigue of Love Frequency is the recently released album artwork. We wouldn’t say that it was a tricky image to interpret; the album cover features an ecstasy pill branded with the Klaxons symbol.

With the image being far from subtle – we wonder if there will be a slap on the wrist for the boys over this one. With drug symbolism being rife in music visuals of late, it’s definitely more of a classy way to suggest ‘drugs are kool’ than some displays we’ve seen (we’re looking at you MDNA).

We feel the more pertinent question, however, is what happens when you take a Klaxons pill? Do you lie back and fantasise about golden skans? Do you get a sudden urge to don a flamboyant shirt and lie around with your bro pals? Do you awkwardly shoot green goo out of your eye-holes in da club? So many unanswered questions.
