Are the rumour mills proving to be legit shit? Sceptics and fans alike have been licking their lips at the prospects of the reunited Outkast duo headlining Splendour In The Grass 2014 and we may have got our biggest hint yet.

We can confirm that Outkast placed up and now removed a date on the official Outkast website involving Byron Bay festival Splendour In The Grass which may have been a slight jump of the gun ahead of the official announce this Wednesday. The dates serve as part of a 40-date 2014 festival-only reunion tour that the band announced back in January that has seen additional dates added.

The event section of their site details that they are locked in for Fuji Rock Festival in Japan on Sunday the 27th of July which could indicate if they do headline at Splendour, it will be the Friday 25th of July night slot. Fingers Crossed.
