There ain’t no stopping Lido at the moment and he’s hit this one out of the park with a BIIIIGGG rework of Bill Withers’ classic ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’! The Norweigan popstar/Jersey Club officianado (a.k.a Trippy Turtle) has been pumping out remixes lately. His remix of Disclosure’s ‘Latch’ unfortunately got pulled last week, despite some protest from the producer.

There’s simply no denying this dudes talents and pop awareness. The mix definitely takes a leaf or two out of fellow countrymen and good friend Cashmere Cat’s book, with some insatiable drip work – but triumphantly manages to add his own flare with a massive “drop” when that mighty head banging synth just explodes out of nowhere. The sing-along original can be a little overkill, but he truly flips this one on its head and its gives it just that perfect smidgen of Jersey, warranting multiple listens.

No download on this bad boy, but sit tight, we can expect a release with Belgian based label Pelican Fly soon. This guy’s rapidly becoming one of the best producers in the game.
