Pharrell and Will.I.Am Settle Half Year Long Trademark Battle

Will I Am

Remember when the world sighed in irony when Will.I.Am sued Pharrell Williams? Well it looks like the pair appear to have kissed and made up outside of the courts on the matter of a trademark dispute between that dates back to July 2013.

The crying foul all happened last year when Pharrell launching his ‘I Am Other’ brand, with old mate Willy (bum bum) claiming it looked and sounded too similar to his ‘I.Am.Symbolic’ company (so deep maaaaaaaaaan).

In a Pharrell’s case defence, the plaintiff argued ‘Dr. Seuss’ use of the words “Sam I am” from the book Green Eggs and Ham, as did ‘I Am Virgin’, ‘I Am Ghost’, ‘I Am Band’ and more. Pharrell has openly stated he thinks the case is “ridiculous” and said he was a guy “who likes to talk things out” and it appears a little oversized hat power has worked in his favour.

Terms aren’t known on the settlement but everyone be chilling now in their overside Canadian hats.
