Gesaffelstein Cancels On Melbourne Future Music Festival Sideshow

French techno savant Gesaffelstein has had to unfortunately pull out of tonights Future Music Festival sideshow at Prince Bandroom in Melbourne as part of his Australian tour citing extremely important personal reasons – of which we’ve been told is the passing of a family member.

The news broke via the official Facebook event page with promoters offering up refunds but also encouraging ticket holders to still come along;

We are deeply saddened to announce that Gesaffelstein will not be able to perform his show tomorrow night due to serious personal reasons. We are currently working on a replacement, however rest assured the Bromance Records party will still be going ahead tomorrow night and Brodinski will still be playing. We appreciate this is a delicate issue but please know this was entirely out of the control of Universe and Power Station, we were just as excited as you for his set. For refund enquiries please contact Prince Bandroom, we have absolutely zero control over this, however we would really love for you all to still come and party with Brodinski and us. When further information comes to hand we will relay it to you as soon as we can.

With word that Gesaffelstein has already left the country this will leave brother in arms Brodinski, along with local techno legend Jensen Interceptor to replace and drive the Bromance Records party along along with other locals Glass Mirrors, Not Another and Viscose.

We offer our sincerest thoughts for Gesaffelstein and hope to see him back in Australia soon.
