Dub-Trap producer indicted for distribution of over $6 million in painkillers

The 19-year-old Trap and Dub producer Kekai Wachi aka “Kai Wachi” apparently didn’t get out of the trap house in time for his indictment on federal charges of conspiring to sell and apparently distributing $6 million in painkillers alone since 2012. The $6 million figure just comes from the 160,000 oxycodone pills with an undisclosed figure from the additional distribution of heroin.

You would think that those grimy dope dealers were off the decks and in the crowd, not on them. Apparently the trap/dub artist from Idaho was dropping more than fresh bass and “dope” tracks into the ears and veins of unfortunate souls. And I guess if you had to pick a drug of choice, would painkillers really fit the minority of drug users who listen to dub-trap?

Wachi has 17,000 ‘likes’ on his Facebook page and over 200,000 hits on one of his Soundcloud tracks. His 15,000 plus followers on Soundcloud may follow the court case but we doubt it. Like Jesus Christ, are cartels keeping dubstep alive or just giving these scumbags from Idaho enough cash to send their listeners into such a droned state the bass is all that keeps them awake?

In all seriousness I doubt oxycodone and heroin is keeping dubstep alive but Kai Wachi may have been banking on more than just how addictive the instrumental parts of his tracks were. Speaking of tracks, this marks the largest prescription painkiller case in the state.

Bravo Kai, if you are found guilty the amount of drugs you’ve apparently distributed has probably ruined countless lives. I wouldn’t be worried about dropping anything but soap in the federal penitentiary you could be in for the next few decades.
