If you had a relatively boring weekend on Facebook and Twitter you would have seen the keyboard warrior-ship of Hudson Mohawke and everyone’s not-so-favourite masked man Zomby unfold. It apparently started when Zomby played a show at London’s XOYO on Friday night with the pair exchanging some fierce words which, in my opinion regarding Zomby anyway, sound like some pretty ill grime lyrics: “I know you read this you beg me up u Scottish prick u can’t front me u just found out — Think I’m lying”, and, “Don’t try it with me I’ll come directly to your jawline — My sweater worth more than your life”. The reasons for the digital battle – where feelings were hurt but not one speck of blood lost – are still unclear, but as you’ll see below both producers seem to have problems with the other’s fashion choices and there’s a whole lot of arrogance going on from both parties.
