Surprise: Deep Dish Served Live in Chicago

header

Maybe it’s a play on words, maybe it was for the LOLs but iconic dance duo Deep Dish made a surprise appearance at Chicago’s The Mid this weekend. Not often do dance legends pop up at your favorite club for a live set; this was surely a treat for clubbers out on the town. In their first show since 2006, Deep Dish served up 3 new tracks including their announced single ‘Quincy’.

The duo announced their return in style with a headlining gig at Miami’s Ice Palace during this year’s Winter Music Conference., and the DC locals, label owners, and masterminds behind smash hits like ‘Say Hello’ seem to be back at just the right now. Not to mislead, Sharam and Dubfire haven’t left the scene. These guys have been killing it at top events for the past decade. Now after the hiatus, we are stoked to see the outcome of new tracks. Have a listen to Pete Tong’s premiere of ‘Quincy’:
