Move over Avicii, Angello and the rest of you cheesy EDM making bastards. Spotify and a new Swede-ish DJ app by the name of Pacemaker (and nope, this app won’t monitor your heart but might up your bpm) have teamed up to create a monster DJ set-up at the fraction of the cost of, a monster DJ set up!

Instead of parting ways with a couple of thousands of dollars, you can get by with 1 x iPad, 1 x Spotify account and 1 x Pacemaker DJ app for £1.49 ($3 Aus). Handy huh.

What do you get? Access to 20 million songs, a 2 channel mixer along with various tools including sync, crossfade, loop and preview tracks. Effects include echo, roll and reverb. Pretty nifty and a bit more legit that old mate’ Flo Rida’s Beamz.

Don’t get me started on those practical Swedes, they have a solution for everything these days!
