Indie-dance dudes Rufus, who have just announced their last Australian tour before departing stateside have drenched Triple J’s ‘Like A Version’ in gooey goodness with covers of Foals and Booka Shade.

Taking advantage of their strengths behind the keys, drums and synths the trio combine their talents to change and mould the jumpy “My Number” from the Foals into a slicker jam with the undercurrent patterns of Booka Shades “Charlotte”, very clever.

Although I don’t entirely get the mashup/bootleg ‘Like A Versions’ the guys did a stellar job of combining two very different tracks. Nice juan! Those in the states can use this as a little prep for when the band, who’ll be called Rufus Du Sol will hit the ground running March 7th.
