Indie-dance-experimental project Mystery Skulls has had his latest single “Ghost” re-released in a refreshing remix pack that includes workings from Fred Falke, Claude Vonstroke, Viceroy and Martignetti – that later of which we’re privileged to premiere on Stoney Roads!
Martignettis name might not cut through the top echelon of blogs but his production speaks loads for their wound out, appregio’d synth work across classic tracks including a ridiculously fun remix of Chromeo’s “Call Me Up” and War’s “Low Rider”.
His version of “Ghost” feels more at place somewhere in an episode of Girls, one of those really feel good moments where a main character realises some emotional catalyst and makes the right decision for once.
Mystery Skulls’ continually updated tumblr also sparks hints towards a debut album with collaborations from Chics Nile Rodgers, Avicii and others. One to watch but for now grab the EP on Beatport and iTunes!
