Mala’s Deep MEDi announces first album for 2014

Following a stellar 2013 with releases from the likes of Swindle, Silkie, Compa, Commodo, Goth Trad and many more, DEEP MEDi‘s first album of 2014 comes courtesy of A/T/O/S (A Taste Of Struggle). The duo are in a whirlwind period with their debut single being remixed by Skream and Commodo, a blazing performance at London’s Jazz Cafe for DEEP MEDi LIVE and support from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs and Noisey.

With their first invention quickly snapped up by dub pioneer and MEDi label boss Mala, the self-titled record is set to drop March 3 via 3 x 10″ or digital formats, and you can listen to the first single ‘What I Need’ below. Expect something a lil’ bit more soothing and soulful from MEDiLP009 than their normal releases.
