It might have pop-ass vibes, but damn it’s got our toes tapping – the new single from Klaxons ain’t bad at all.

Poised to be the hit track on a new album due in spring, ‘There is No Other Time’ is buried in amongst other collaborations with The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands, Erol Alkan and the Stoney-much-beloved James Murphy.

But what’s got us all hot and bothered is the Gorgon City input. Producing this track plus recently knocking our socks off with a bunch of other projects (like this one) and signing with the Black Butter label, we peg that you could stick a fork in them – they’re ready to explode.

Back to the Klaxies though, expectations are that the track might face a bit of flack for it’s pop constituents – what do you think of the new direction in sound?
