Hannah Wants’ Motivation: ‘I didn’t get a paid booking for around 6 of those (10) years’

In a recent interview exclusively with Stoney Roads, house producer and Dirtybird-signed Hannah Wants opened up on how hard work really DOES pay off when it comes to what she has achieved to date.

When asked  ‘How important is money with what you do?’ She gave us a surprising insight into her career sharing that;

“It definitely helps but I DJ for the love of music and the art of DJ’ing, not for money. I’ve DJ’d for over 10 years now and i didn’t get a paid booking for around 6 of those years! DJ’ing is my passion and i’m fortunate enough to get paid for living my dream – i’ve worked myself up from the very bottom and i will never take money for granted.”

Best known for her collaboration with Chris Lorenzo on “Kneadin”, having ridden the popularity of bass music on the house scene in 2013 we’re excited to see her in Australia for her debut tour.

You can party with her in Sydney on the Ship Faced Cruise alongside Douster, Doorly and locals Cosmo’s Midnight and Thomas Jack this Saturday, in the mean time read the full interview here.
