After storming the UK dance scene last year with the Method Records release of ‘Renegade‘,  accompanied by Annie Mac’s praise through marking the Liverpool local as “one name to watch” and amongst a flurry of other encouraging work with Rinse FM, Friend Within has begun 2014 in the same vein with the release of ‘Undeground’ on Hypercolour.

It’s fair to say the Scouser doesn’t shy away from a dancefloor banger, and the title track certainly exemplifies this as the 2:12 mark sees a massive bassline provoke the inevitable head-bopping, shoulder-shrugging antics we’ve come to expect. Quality EP and hopefully more to come from the seemingly ever-rising star of the UK scene.
