With Strut’s new Hardcore Traxx retrospective of legendary Chicago House label Dance Mania out this week, influential Russian glamour DJ Nina Kraviz has shared a raw vinyl-only mix to honor Chicago house music.

In a chat with Strut records Kraviz said she “fell in love with Dance Mania on the first listen, more than 10 years ago at the record store”, also “it is one of the few labels that has enough music to build up a proper two hour set without sounding the same or repetitive.”

Karviz’s affection for the label can be heard across the entire mix with the veteran selector choosing form her personal collection of the label’s best known sounds; including acid-fueled cuts from Parris Mitchell, DJ Funk, and Vincent Floyd, among others. Stream and download below.
