Four Tet and Jamie xx share unreleased collaboration on Independent Radio Station

Yesterday, Laneway Festival headliners Four Tet and Jamie xx took over Sydney’s FBi Radio for a back-to-back DJ mix during the Young Turks takeover, using their time to broadcast a slew of unreleased tunes. Among those never-before-heard bits was a tune jointly crafted by the two mixmasters, a soft-focus jam called ‘Seesaw’, along with Four Tet’s remix of Ellie Goulding’s ‘Burn’, and collaborations with grime lord Terror Danjah and the John Talobot/Axel Boman Talaboman duo.

A soft, glinting, rhythmically jerky collaboration and an inviting cut of understated dancefloor music, ‘Seesaw’ comes after Four Tet amazed us by producing a tune in just ten minutes, sharing an unreleased jam with Burial, releasing his ‘Beautiful Rewind‘ album last year and giving away free tracks to celebrate 100,000 Twitter followers.

You can listen to a radio rip of it below, or, if you prefer, listen to the whole three-hour show further below.
