Daniel Avery is hands down one of the most sought after producers in electronic music today and everything he puts his name to is virtually flawless. If I go into how I feel about his debut album, Drone Logic this would become a very belated album review rather than a review of this remix. Factory Floor’s How You Say has been rubbed down with Avery’s brand of magic, turning it into a simultaneously dreamy yet dark, eight minute escape. Reminiscent of early Telefon Tel Aviv and somehow bringing Sasha Involver to mind, Avery has crafted a beautiful and emotive piece of music.

When I recently spoke to Daniel Avery (in an interview I am itching to publish) he spoke of how he considers himself a perfectionist and it no doubt pays off. Other-worldly, 4am worthy, a musical trip to a greyscale square of happiness are but a few things that come to mind when listening to this.
