Last year, the UK Eastern Electrics Festival gained notoriety after Seth Troxler’s nude public service announcement. Though an ideal lineup and hip setting announced the self-proclaimed ‘underground festival’ the aftermath was not so bright. Rumors of the festival going defunct spread after location issues and poor attendance. Truthfully we had written off the coveted festival. With a lineup like last year and stages from the likes of Crosstown Rebels and DirtyBird, we can’t understand why it wasn’t all smiles. Recent words from EE prove the parties humble roots as a warehouse rave. Struggling with growing pains festival has scaled back to a single day extravaganza but will no doubt play host to the leaders of the underground.

“At times it’s been a roller coaster ride, but we are 100% committed to providing amazing electronic music events in the most beautiful settings. This is the third year of the festival and having relocated to a different site each year, we hope that we have finally found our home. Having promoted underground parties for more than 15 years I’m totally committed to building an underground electronic music festival that the UK can be proud of.”

Happy to see that event is still kicking, this is one show you shouldn’t miss in the UK. With an action packed deep and techno lineup, Eastern Electrics is a prime stop for the underground producer or fan. Look for the lineup later this spring, for now… mark your calendars for this end of summer bash.
