Tres meta: Avicii remixes Avicii for Avicii remix album

Stars, let it shine. Let your freak flag fly. Let your ya be ya. Or in short? Do as Avicci does and show a little bit (A LOT) of self love.

As if buying a lifetime supply of backwards caps and what we can only assume is an on-hand facial hair crafting assistant, Avicii has gone ahead and treated himself to a plethora of remixes – of his own work…for an entire album.

Can we assume it will be a treat for anyone else? Ha. Ironically set to be the ‘true’ version of his album ‘True’ (which included a collection of monstrosity-tracks including the EDM/country disasters ‘Wake Me Up’ and ‘Hey Brother). The album will allow the little man to ‘reinvent each track in his own style’…

Ex-squeeze me? Baking powder? Or more to the point, DA FUK?!

Whilst others artists are collaborating, remixing and making mixes out of each other’s work, it appears that Avicceroo doesn’t feel the need for anyone else. To hell with artistic companionship and creative processes! This lone wolf reworks alone – with the generous support of Positiva and Virgin EMI, solid.

As they say, you can’t polish a turd, but you can throw a fuckload of glitter on it. Good luck to ya.

If you’re still feeling like somebody else needs to do the ditty be sure to check out Vicious’ latest compilation ’21 Years of Vicious’ that features two remixes of earlier Avicii productions “Jailbait” and “My Feelings For Ya” featuring Sebastian Drums.
