9 Producers Who Changed Their Alias to Create Deep House

The exodus of genres including dubstep and electro have created a new biproduct in the dance music landscape that’s constantly helping to push new sub-genres to the forefront of what’s trending sound-wise.

With the rise of UK garage and the new ‘deep’ or ‘club’ house (whatever you prefer to call it) lead by producers including Disclosure, we thought it would be interesting to look at who has ‘made the switch’ as opposed to appear from the grass-roots of a scene.

With a good bunch of notable experienced names converting their style of sound and intro-ing the public to a new name, I’m sure you’re about to see a few surprises.

Lee Mortimer is now Friend Within

Dave Spoon is now Shadow Child
