Following in the realms of Trippy Turtle, DJ Yolobear and DJ Paypal comes Y2KOALA, the first “non-Australian Australian sound attempt” as put by a close friend upon diving into the mystery that is this newcomer to the quirky rnb-trap crossover genre that seems to be blowing up.

Starting with a strong edit tells us this is a proper club DJ who works on re-tweaking tracks for seamless party sets and probably more a DJ-DJ than a producer.  The edit? Three Six Mafias stoner anthem “Stay High” propelled upwards with an up’d BPM, handclaps and chopped vocals.

All in all a fun start to things with some calling him an alter alias of Wave Racer but our spidey senses tell us this is an international looking to pass the Australian citizen test in his own way (hint: check out who he’s supporting in Adelaide).
