Young beatmaker and soon-to-be Australian tourer XXYYXX has shared the deep dark secrets behind his success after a snotty fan became enraged with producer for not spilling the details on his apparent steep ride to popularity. The best bit? XXYYXX coming clean that it was a little bit of luck and a whole lot of Youtube views that helped him rise to his current status as the next best thing as candidly shared by the producer on his Facebook.

FYI i’m not a label and I don’t have connections lol. i remember this kid getting mad because i didn’t tell him ‘my secret’ i made a video and it caught on and that’s pretty much how stuff started happening. there is no secret just make music you feel like making i guess thats the secret.

His honesty is refreshing for such a young guy versus a lot of ego’s that are driven by their own self worth when there were a whole cast of notable outside factors that have played into a particular careers success’ in the dance world.

With a new album on the way following his lush debut there’s no stopping this Florida resident from hitting the big time. XXYYXX will play two select club shows in Sydney and Melbourne outside of the national Laneway Festival alongside Cashmere Cat, Danny Brown, Four Tet, Jamie XX, Mount Kimbie and more.
