Last night personal favourite and British crooner James Blake made his debut as host on BBC Radio 1 with the help of his 1-800 Dinsoaur squad. Instead of simply having a mix and delivering a mundane program, James thought it would be more appropriate to “interview” everyone’s favourite dubstep mystery-man Burial in studio – this ended up being an elaborate gag; it was evidently too good to be true. On a more positive note he interviewed grime artist Trim and played some exclusive business from R&S young blood Lone (keep an eye on this lad), Mr Assister, Airhead and  an unreleased track by Blake titled ‘40455’ for the first time on air. Hopefully more news to come on this soon, fingers crossed for an EP.
