Hudson Mohawke has been the talk of the music AND high fashion world today, after an unreleased and untitled tune of his was used as the soundtrack for the Chanel Spring/Summer 2014 Catwalk show at the Paris Fashion Week.

The Scottish producer has been a hot topic in the dance music scene lately, since the unexpected split between himself and Canadian beat-maker Lunice from their illustrious collaboration TNGHT, but it seems as though Hud Mo has no plans in slowing down.

Hud Mo’s unexpected teaming with the high fashion label was revealed through the Lucky Me Records Facebook page earlier today, and elaborated on by himself via Twitter, revealing the track is not quite as new as we expected.

 

Now, even though the track the meant for Drake’s album, it still sounded better whilst watching Cara Delevingne strut down the runway.

There has been no word of whether Hudson Mohawke will release the track (quite frankly I’m still hoping he releases ‘Chimes’), but it is safe to say we will be hearing a lot of solo stuff from Hud Mo in 2014. In the meantime, treat yourself to some classic Hudson Mohawke from a few years back. Still a great listen.
