Perennial vocalist-turned electronic musician Elizabeth Rose has teamed up with some pals and sent a foghorn across Australia with a message from afar letting the villagers know she will be touring.

Joined by electronica 3 piece Safia – who spent their 2013 listening to soul babe and Fishing – (Old mate Doug and Russel) are best known for their nu-wave indie as well as rap appearance on Alison Wonderland’s first single ‘Get Ready‘.

The tour couldn’t have been more timely, after recently grabbing a SMAC award for ‘next big thang’ and releasing her self-titled 5 track EP including the hit ‘Good Life’ and some savvy new electronica stuff. Our pick of the newbie tunes is the off- centre ‘Out Of Step’, that shows off some swung out clucky percussion supported by her dreamy-ish vocals. As they say, one Rose says more than the dozen (witty).
