DJ Snake Shares Diplo Collaboration “Drop” – Help If You Could Hear It

Recent Australian tourer DJ Snake has shared a live version of a new track he’s looking to release with Major Lazer don Diplo titled “Drop”. Although on paper the credentials scream loads, the live version uploaded to Snakes own Soundcloud really loses any gusto with the almost indecipherable audio.

The follow up to his break out hits “Bird Machine” and ” Turn Down For What” featuring MC Lil Jon (WHAT!) follows the booming bassline and clapped-out piercing synths of his past productions, but again… you can’t hear much to really make a solid appreciation of the new track with a crowd cheering and live MCing – reminding us of the 96Kbps bang0rs we downloaded back 2007.

Early Jan the Snake found himself intoxicated by his own venom when an edit of The Prodigy he claimed as his own sounded almost identical to that of French producer Mercer, with the pair clearing up that indeed Snake had asked for the stems to re-work the masters. Doh.

Have a listen to the track below and see what you can make it of can actually hear.

Update: A keen bean ripped it from his Essential mix, much better quality!
