Two of the worlds most prominent electronic producers have opened a can of whoop-ass on each other after touching on STORY Miami’s soundsystem of all things.

It all started out on a rather positive note when Porter Robinson, who will shortly release his debut LP ‘Worlds’ tweeted giving the Miami club’s system the thumbs up having played there earlier this year.

That’s when super-Porter-fan ‘Gigggles’ stepped in tweeting that fellow artist Deadmau5, who has just released his ‘While 1<2″ album wasn’t so sure about it (or ANY Miami clubs with trust fund crowds)…  and in-fact thought young Robinson was a ‘dickhead’ of all things.

Porter tried to smooth things over with a light hearted reply but that’s when things got sticky and a few personal shots were fired about “meltdowns”, “contrived controversies” and “marriage proposals” – eek!

The mau5’s reply didn’t really help the situation in stating he didn’t know much about Porter’s personal life and thus no real standing for calling him a dickhead that started the whole mess.

At the end of the day its a weird one having seen the usually tentative Porter strike out a little and the fact Deadmau5 decided to take shots at someone who really doesn’t run in the same circles?
