With press materials describing the record as a “bleached out and black tinted conclusion of the Actress image”, the A-side of the Londoner’s new 12″ has just received an ever-appropriate video to accompany it. Gloomy and dark, the clip appears to simultaneously incorporate real-world textures along with healthy doses of artistic manipulation; producers Eddie Peake and Nic Hamilton utilising his melancholic soundscapes perfectly with the visuals provided. Being easily one of the most abstract clips I’ve seen lately, you can check it out below.

‘Grey Over Blue / Wee Bey’ – which featured in our ‘Best Releases of December‘ chart – is out now via his own Werkdiscs label as well as the famous Ninja Tune, and will soon be followed by the forthcoming ‘Ghettoville’ LP when it’s released on January 27.
