Shadow Child Cancels Australian Tour

Shadow Child has very suddenly and sadly cancelled his planned Australian tour due to some ongoing health issues that could be quite serious.

It appears the producer who has also had much success under his electro alias ‘Dave Spoon’ had his management pass on this message to his fans on Facebook:

‘AUSTRALIAN TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SHADOW CHILD MANAGEMENT: due to unforeseen medical circumstances Shadow Child has had to regrettably cancel this run of Australian dates. We apologise to all fans and promoters for this but sadly nothing can be done at this time. A statement direct from the artist will be released shortly.’

The real name Simon Neale who usually hosts a radio show on Rinse FM was meant to be touring across down under as well as playing at the always highly anticipated Field Day festival in Sydney alongside Dusky, Julio Bashmore, Flume and more.

On the seriousness of his health condition we are concerned. Shadow Childs management reacted very quickly to shut a person who attacked the producers decision stating:

‘From Shadow Childs management: (*users Facebook name*)… You would really not be saying that if you knew what he has been through. We are sorry for letting you down but if he could physically be there he would. Matt’

On behalf of the Stoney Roads community, we hope that he has a speedy recovery and if health improves see him tour at some point later in the year!
